Are any books needed? For all piano and violin lessons, we recommend that each student has their own personal copy of the lesson material. The number of books that are required is based on level and age. Beginners typically will only need one piano or violin book and a notebook. For beginner piano students, the "My Piano Adventures" book series is used. For intermediate and advanced levels we typically use the Royal Conservatory program. Beginner violin students will need the "Suzuki Violin Book 1" and intermediate to advanced use whichever study method works best for them (continuing with the Suzuki method or the Royal Conservatory of Music books).

Can the parents sit in on the lesson?Yes, parents are more than welcome to come and sit in during the lesson if they like.
